Why did I name the book Holding the Waist?

Because some places on a map are not just land. They are lifelines.
The northern corridor around Hilli, Ghoraghat, Palashbari, and Gaibandha is like the waist of Bangladesh. If it is secure, the north remains connected. If it is threatened, the whole country feels the pressure.
